If you're good enough at editing, you can make this into an explosion, a weapon, a hydraulic release, or some sort of gloopy lava bubbling sound, or anything else you can create with this. Grinding a single cup of espresso by hand in a peugeot coffee grinder. It was recorded with a maono au-903 usb mic pointing at the grinder, and set to cardioid. (i'm new to sound recording so i'm taking lots of notes to try and learn what works best. ).

After the cup of coffee is made, one sips it. Sometimes, loudly. I'm so proud, i even got the swallow.

These are the noises that accompany waiting in line at sassyass coffee, a local coffee shop in downtown charleston. During the recording you can hear an enjoyable interaction with regular customers toward the end, and general espresso noises and small talk for the rest.
